“Here’s the problem with cancer”

Thank God the mouthy guy with the fanny pack is gone. No disrespect to fanny packs, or mouthy guys for that matter, but I am not spending one of my two wild and crazy bachelor nights listening to some dude with a stringy pony tale prattle on about politics. Even if I may be predisposed to agree with him, I’m not going to sit around listening to him.

In the words of the enimitable Sharon Jones (who I will not be seeing on Sunday dammit), “I’ve got better things to do.”  Such as? I’d be willing to consider a colonoscopy, but what I was really thinking was blogging on my new phone. Here is the thing about having had an iPod touch for a while: I knew from the get go what I wanted to add to this thing.

Twitter client? Check. Facebook? Check. Apps that use GPS that I could not use before? You betcha.  It is probably a little too early to render an opinion on this thing. Things that baffled me last night are routine at this point. Other things I just haven’t gotten my shit together on yet.  And dear Lord in Heaven do my google contacts need some work.  On the whole though, I don’t think I’m going to be dissapointed. Except there’s the fact that the mouthy guy had only gone out to smoke.
