Meeting ain’t easy but it’s necessary

At the risk of sounding arrogant, I give good meeting. Sure, I take that brainstorming shit to the next level, but that is just the beginning. Just when things start to drag, I can throw in bit of humor that unlocks a sucker’s jaw and lets the conversation really get hectic. Or when the herd mentality is creepin’, I’ll toss out a question that cuts through the b.s. What really makes me primetime is the way I will drop a bomb on some ill dialog and check out with a friggin’ trunk of funky next steps. So good, it’s good to me.

Between that and the o’fro, it’s pretty much all I have going for me so you know I’ve got to flex. And it is hard on a gentleman of meeting such as myself to hang in there when things are getting loose all over the off-site. For instance, any punk can come up with an agenda, but how many of you can stick with it? Plus timelines? How many of you can facilitate and record AT THE SAME TIME. Some people will say it can’t be done, but that is just because they have never seen it done well. In fact, that’s why so many of you punks complain about meetings in general. It’s not meetings you’re hating on, it’s all those whack meetings you’ve been sitting in.

So I’m just going to throw this out there: if you are saying that you are done with meetings — Done. With meetings. — call on Sanuk D. Any topic. Any time. Any where. We can either do this powerpoint stylie or go old school flip chart. Your choice, bitches. I’m just saying that there is one thing I am sure of: once you’ve gone Sanuk, you’ll never go back.
