How can you tell if you are better? Seriously, you spend all this time protecting fragile things so how do you know if they are still fragile? And if they are still fragile, wouldn’t you feel dumb for risking it? Then again, you’d look pretty dumb for favoring something that is just fine thank you very much.
Then the other questions start rolling in, and like was it ever really that bad to begin with? That’s relatively easy to answer when someone who saw you sit and sweat in a wheelchair for 50 minutes is available for some perspective. Long story short, yes it really was that bad.
But things change. They get better. The problem is trusting the process. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I don’t have enough patience. It can mean that I am being too cautious. And unfortunately there is nothing I can do but just give it a shot and see how things turn out.
