Is that a J.P. Barlow tune?

So I just found out what a Juicy Lucy is. (It’s a cheese burger, by the way, except the cheese is on the inside man!) Obviously cheeseburgers are not so much my thing, and so I’m a bit disappointed that a burger joint is replacing a restaurant that I liked quite a bit.

Plus it seems a little unfair to the vegetarians to have a place so fully dedicated to the meats. But what kind of whining self-entitled vegetarian would I be to really complain about this too much. For goodness’ sake, I live in Asheville. I’m not sure you can get a business license for a restaurant in this town without proving that 20% of your menu is vegetarian and/or gluten-free.

The vegetarian living is, in fact, easy in the Land of the Sky. It something I could easily take for granted, and do until I find myself in someone else’s city. Them, more often than not, the vegetarian option is a salad with the chicken left off. Not acceptable. I think I’ll make my peace with Juicy Lucy, especially since they are reported to have a “shake menu.”
